Meet Liz
Hi,
Thank you for stopping by. I understand the challenge in choosing a coach that is the right fit for you. The best advice I could give is to book a free 30 minute introductory zoom call with me to talk through what you would like to achieve with coaching, and to see if we are a good fit.
In the meantime, here is a little bit about me…
I am an EMCC Global Accredited Executive and Team Coach. I have over 20 years experience of leading, coaching and developing emotionally intelligent, authentic leaders, and developing highly performing, trusting and cohesive teams. Through years spent leading operational and programme leadership teams working across Health and Care, I developed a passion for people and team development. It matters to me that I really understand every person that I work with and coach. I like exploring what makes us all individual and authentically us. My favourite quote and one I try and live by is ‘be so completely you that everyone else feels safe to be themselves too.’
I was an NHS Programme Director responsible for leading multi-million pound innovative programmes that brought together health and care organisations to lead transformations in health and care across London. I left the NHS to move into leadership education at the University of Hertfordshire and to transition into Executive Coaching.
As a Principal Lecturer in Leadership Development, I am a subject expert in leadership, innovation, design thinking, coaching and leading change with responsibility for delivering and leading postgraduate programmes of study in these subject areas. I lead the University of Hertfordshire’s Leadership, Talent Management and Coaching education provision for the Health and Social Care sector.
I provide individual and team coaching for organisations. I specialise in developing highly emotionally intelligent leaders, with effective communication and influencing skills; increasing personal effectiveness and team performance; changing behaviour through awareness of blind spots; developing management and leadership skills; resolving tension and conflict between individuals and within teams; facilitating strategic thinking; driving and managing change; and helping executives to progress their careers.
Unfortunately I have seen, and experienced myself, how easy it is for a leader’s power and self-belief to be diminished, and how difficult it feels to be the authentic leader you want to be. I have seen the magic and power of coaching, in providing a safe, supportive and constructively challenging space to encourage people to confirm their goals, develop and achieve them!
If you are ready to take your next steps in your leadership journey, please get in touch.
I really look forward to catching up soon!
